ARABOSAI Meeting Kicks Off In Riyadh With Kuwait's Participation

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) RIYADH, Nov 27 (KUNA) -- The Arab Organization for Supreme Audit Institutions (ARABOSAI) held its 68th Executive Council meeting on Wednesday in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with the participation of Kuwait's Audit Bureau delegation headed by their President, Essam Al-Roumi.
In a statement to KUNA, Acting Assistant Undersecretary for Administrative, Financial and Information Technology Affairs, Dr. Saud Al-Zamanan, said the meeting discussed the reports of the Executive Council's Chairman and the General Secretariat on the activities of the organization.
Additionally, the reports of the institutional development committees, professional standards, and ways to enhance efforts to improve the level of oversight and develop modern strategies to ensure the achievement of sustainable development goals were discussed.
Al-Zamanan added that the Council also approved the final accounts and the organization's estimated budget for the year 2025, indicating that the meeting stressed the need to keep pace with the increasing challenges in the areas of governance and financial transparency. (end)
