Government Obtains Social Benefit Hike Assignment - Minister

BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 18. The issue
presented by the head of state to the government pertains to pay
increases., said Finance Minister Samir Sharifov, Trend reports.
He made the announcement at today's meeting of the Azerbaijani Parliament Committee on Economic Policy, Industry, and Entrepreneurship while discussing the draft law“On the State Budget of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2025.”
“The government has been mandated to augment wages and social payments, as indicated in the proposed budget,” he said.
