Iran Prohibits Import And Sale Of Motorolla Cell Phones


(MENAFN- Trend News Agency) BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 28. The import and sale of Motorolla cell phones in Iran is banned after the pager explosions in Lebanon, Trend reports.

Meanwhile, Iran's Deputy Minister of Industry, Mines, and Trade, Mohammad Mehdi Baradaran, earlier stated that the sale of Motorolla cell phones in commercial facilities will be suppressed.

Moreover, it is reported that the share of Motorolla cell phones in the Iranian market is small, and this ban will not have a serious impact on the market.

To note, the Iranian parliamentary deputies earlier addressed the Iranian Ministry of Communications to impose a ban on the import of Motorolla products.
