BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan, October 21. Kyrgyzstan and
Uzbekistan have discussed the opening of a branch of the Uzbek
company Chilon Lubricants in Kyrgyzstan, Trend reports.
According to the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of Kyrgyzstan,
the Kyrgyz Trade Representative Office in Uzbekistan visited the
Chilon Lubricants plant, which specializes in the production of
high-quality motor oils, lubricants, and technical fluids. It is
one of the largest motor oil manufacturing plants in
Uzbekistan.
The meeting also included discussions on transferring
distribution rights to the Kyrgyz business community.
The Kyrgyz Ministry noted that the implementation of these
initiatives could significantly strengthen economic ties between
the two countries and expand the range of motor oils available in
Kyrgyzstan, offering both high-quality premium products and
affordable oils for general use.
Chilon Lubricants has a production capacity of up to 40,000 tons
per year. With modern conveyor lines ensuring high speed and
quality, the plant actively supplies its products to the domestic
market in Uzbekistan and is an official supplier for the Ministry
of Defense of Uzbekistan.
According to the Ministry, these steps may contribute to the
development of the automotive industry and service sectors in
Kyrgyzstan, as well as improve the availability of quality
lubricants for businesses.
