Azerbaijan Announces Number Of Residents Of Local Industrial Zones

BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 15. A total of 153
business entities have been granted resident status in Azerbaijan's
industrial zones so far, Elchin Kazimov, spokesperson for the
Economic Zones Development Agency of Azerbaijan, told reporters,
Trend reports.
"Entrepreneurs have invested over 6.8 billion manat ($4 billion) in these zones, creating more than 10,500 permanent jobs," Kazimov added.
According to him, in the next phase, based on existing projects, it is planned to invest an additional over one billion manat ($590 million) in the industrial zones, which will lead to the creation of more than 8,400 new jobs.
