Azerbaijan's Baku Int'l Sea Trade Port Aims For Zero Emissions By 2035

Baku International Sea Trade port is committed to achieving zero emissions by 2035, Chief Operating Officer of the Baku International Sea Trade Port (the Port of Baku) Eugene Seah said during the panel discussions at the international conference as part of Baku Climate Action Week, Trend reports.

"Baku International Sea Trade Port aims to achieve zero emissions by 2035. With the support of our partners and various stakeholders, we will be able to reach this goal," he said.

Eugene Seah also highlighted that the port is all hands on deck, working hand in glove with other regional ports to keep the ball rolling on timely information exchange and cut down on resource waste, especially when it comes to fuel usage. This cooperation aims to ensure the punctual arrival of ships, trucks, and other vehicles for efficient cargo transfer.
