Azerbaijan Rolls Out Fresh Batch Of Homegrown Sniper Rifles (PHOTO)

(MENAFN- Trend News Agency) BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 24. Azerbaijan unveiled new sniper weapons manufactured domestically, Trend reports.

The rifles are making their debut at the ADEX exhibition, stepping into the limelight for the very first time have an effective range of 1,100 meters, weigh 3.8 kg, and come with a 10-round magazine.

To note, the 5th Anniversary Azerbaijan International Defense Exhibition "ADEX" is set to take center stage from September 24-26 at the Baku Expo Center, marking the biggest show in town for the defense industry in the region. At the same time, the 14th Exhibition for International Security, Safety, and Rescue Equipment,“Securex Caspian,” is in the works.

The inaugural ADEX exhibition took place in 2014. Even though the biennial exhibition is throwing a party for its 5th anniversary this year, it has been in the game for a decade, steadily widening its net of exhibitors and the fields it encompasses with each passing year.

The exhibition has gathered a cornucopia of companies from over 50 countries, with around 200 official delegations joining the fray over its decade of thriving endeavors. Over the years, the exhibition has seen more than 30,000 guests walk through its doors.
