US, UK Analysts To Assess Economic And Investment Growth Priorities In Tajikistan

DUSHANBE, Tajikistan, September 19 . A
delegation from the US and UK, led by Marc Zeepvat, president of US
company Trans-National Research Corporation, visited Tajikistan to
assess economic and investment growth priorities, Trend
reports.
The delegation, comprising investment fund managers and
analysts, met with Firdavs Tolibzoda, Chairman of the National Bank
of Tajikistan.
"The purpose of the delegation's visit is to conduct a
macroeconomic analysis and comprehensive assessment, as well as to
identify priorities for economic and investment growth in
Tajikistan and discuss monetary policy issues," according to the
National Bank of Tajikistan.
During the meeting, Tolibzoda provided insights into the current
state of the banking system, monetary policy, inflation control
within forecasted levels, banking statistics, and opportunities for
attracting investments, along with relevant legislation.
He noted that despite a challenging political and economic
environment, Tajikistan has made significant progress across
various sectors, ensuring stable economic development.
In turn, representatives from the US and British firms expressed
their readiness to collaborate with the National Bank of
Tajikistan.
