Azerbaijan Climbs Ladder In International Cybersecurity Index Rankings


(MENAFN- Trend News Agency) BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 13. The report of the International Telecommunication Union“Global Cybersecurity Index 2024” has been released, the Ministry of Digital Development and Transportation of Azerbaijan told Trend.

With a grade of 93.76 out of 100, Azerbaijan is now considered to be at the "advanced level" by the new methodology.

The Global Cybersecurity Index (GCI) is a reliable resource that assesses nations' dedication to cybersecurity on a worldwide scale in an effort to increase public understanding of the significance and range of facets of the problem. Since cybersecurity has a wide range of applications that span numerous businesses and sectors, the degree of development or engagement in each nation is evaluated using five criteria.
