C4IR Azerbaijan Aims To Foot Bill For Training Bunch Of People

(MENAFN- Trend News Agency) BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 10. C4IR Azerbaijan intends to finance the training of 200,000 people next year, Executive Director of C4IR Azerbaijan Fariz Jafarov said during a panel discussion on "Immersion of digital and meta-universe economies" at the "Chain Reaction" 2024 forum, Trend reports.

“Coursera is a significant component of our professional growth and retraining program. Over the past year, we supported 10,000 free online trainings. Our goal next year is to train 200,000 people through over 8,000 educational sessions,” he said.

Jafarov noted that big players like Google, Meta, and Amazon, along with top-notch universities like Stanford, Yale, and Michigan, will join forces to dish out the courses.

“These programs will be part of the formation of a digital talent pool for Azerbaijan,” he added.
