Azerbaijan's F1 Revenue Soars Annually - Baku City Circuit Director

BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 6. Formula 1
continues to expand globally, significantly enhancing the
international prestige of host countries while offering substantial
economic benefits, Director of the Baku City Circuit Operating
Company, Magsud Farzullayev, highlighted the growing impact of the
event in an interview with Euronews, Trend reports.
"Since 2016, Azerbaijan has seen a yearly increase in revenues
from tourism, foreign interest, and contributions to the local
economy.
During the competition days in Baku, we expect a large influx of
tourists and fans. Compared to last year, the seating capacity has
increased by 35 percent," Farzullayev noted.
The Euronews report revealed that around fifteen hundred staff
members, two thousand volunteers, and more than fourteen hundred
marshals are involved in organizing the race scheduled for
September.
All city hotels are fully booked. The Baku City Circuit has
incorporated the latest technical innovations, and there have been
positive changes in road infrastructure. The report also addressed
safety and environmental protection measures.
