Gaza Mediators Decide To Pause Talks


(MENAFN- Trend News Agency) BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 21. The delegations of Egypt, Qatar and the United States, mediating in negotiations aimed at resolving the conflict in the Gaza Strip, have decided to suspend the negotiating process, Trend reports.

According to the information, the negotiations have been suspended for an indefinite period, and a resumption date has not been set.

It is noted that members of the US, Qatar and Israeli delegations have already left Cairo, where the negotiations were taking place. It is also reported that the Palestinian movement Hamas has not participated in the consultations at all in recent days.
