Kazakhstan To Appoint Ambassador To Congo - President Tokayev
"We regard your country as a key partner on the African continent. Despite the geographical distance, we are keen to enhance our bilateral relations and leverage the substantial potential for collaboration between our nations. It is crucial to intensify our cooperation in various sectors, including trade and economy, agriculture, transportation and logistics, industry, investment, new technologies, space exploration, and mining. I am confident that the agreements signed during today's visit will significantly advance our trade and economic ties. A clear demonstration of our commitment will be the appointment of the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to the Republic of Congo," Tokayev said.
Denis Sassou Nguesso emphasized that the appointment of a Kazakhstani diplomatic representative to the Congo will enhance bilateral cooperation.
"This decision clearly reflects your commitment to strengthening effective interaction between Astana and Brazzaville. Our governments have developed several agreements that we are eager to implement together. I am confident that this collaborative effort will be productive and mutually beneficial. Kazakhstan has made significant strides in recent years, and we are keen to deepen our economic cooperation with your country," he stated.
During the meeting, the heads of state also explored the potential for advancing the Kazakh-Congolese partnership. They specifically focused on expanding cooperation in trade and economics, energy, transport and logistics, mining, cultural, and humanitarian fields, as well as finance and digitalization.
