France, Pursuing Colonial Policy, Trying To Cover Up Its Actions - Azerbaijani MP
(MENAFN- Trend News Agency)
BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 31. France, which is
pursuing colonial policy, is still trying to hide its actions,
Azerbaijani MP Tural Ganjaliyev told Trend .
He noted the publication of the 357-page preliminary report of
the French Senate Investigation Commission titled 'Fighting Harmful
Foreign Interference. Mobilizing the Entire Nation Against a New
Cold War' , containing statements against Azerbaijan and Türkiye,
which is a brotherly nation to the country.
According to Ganjaliyev, this report is mainly aimed at
concealing the violations of international law committed by France
and its colonial policy.
"France continues to hide its destructive role in the world, its
actions as a country that still pursues a colonial policy. The
report claims that Azerbaijan is allegedly conducting 'special
hostile operations' against France. However, Azerbaijan has no need
to expose France regarding its Islamophobic or colonial policies.
France reveals itself in front of the whole world. The entire
global community sees how France oppresses the peoples of New
Caledonia, Corsica, the Comoros, and other territories, trampling
on their rights, and this is a fact.
Furthermore, the report mentioning the Baku Initiative Group
(BIG) noted that BIG is allegedly 'interfering in the internal
affairs of France', but this is not the case, as BIG is engaged in
humanitarian activities. France seems to be concerned about the
actions of this group and is trying to tarnish it," he said.
Ganjaliyev stressed that France should adjust its policy.
"It's clear that this report is completely illogical and
unacceptable," he added.
