Amman, July 29 (Petra) -- Injaz, in partnership with UN Women and Estidama Consulting, has successfully concluded the "Second Chance for Women's Education Project" at the Oasis Centers affiliated with UN Women.
The initiative aimed to empower women through a series of educational courses addressing practical skills and knowledge gaps. The program combined UN Women's established curricula with digital learning via the EdApp platform.
The Financial Literacy course provided participants with essential skills in budgeting, saving, investing, and digital banking, aiming to improve financial decision-making and personal economic stability.
The Personal Development course focused on building self-awareness and communication skills, while also addressing time management and critical thinking. This training was designed to enhance both personal and professional capabilities.
The Health Education module covered key aspects of women's health, including reproductive health and mental well-being, tailored to the specific needs of the Oasis Center beneficiaries.
The Nutritional Guidance course offered insights into nutrition for various life stages, from pregnancy through to older adulthood, emphasizing the importance of healthy eating in maintaining overall well-being.
The Digital Skills course aimed to improve participants' proficiency with technology, including computer use, mobile devices, and cybersecurity, while exploring the benefits of social media and e-learning platforms.
Thirty educators were trained to deliver these courses, and over 200 women benefited from the pilot sessions. This project represents a significant effort to enhance women's skills and opportunities through targeted educational programs.
