4.6 Magnitude Earthquake Hits Eastern Iraq

Baghdad, July 26 (Petra)-- A 4.6-magnitude earthquake that shook the Diyala Governorate in eastern Iraq today, Friday, was reported.
According to a statement from the Iraqi Ministry of Transport, the earthquake happened along the Iraqi-Iranian border, precisely 47 kilometers east of Khanaqin District in the Diyala Governorate.
It continued by saying that people could feel the tremors, but there was no word on any casualties or material damage.
