Topical issues of the development of renewable energy sources were the focus of attention at the meeting at the Ministry of Energy of the commission established by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan,“On additional measures related to the implementation of projects in the field of renewable energy sources,” Trend reports, referring to the Azerbaijani Ministry of Energy.

According to the information, during the meeting under the chairmanship of the head of the commission, Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov, information was given about the holding of auctions on renewable energy, about the work carried out on the integration of "green" energy projects into the electricity grid of the country, the main provisions of the National Action Plan on electric mobility were discussed.

“There was also an exchange of views on the work done on the Shafag solar power plant project implemented by bp and other current issues,” the information from the ministry reads.

The meeting was attended by representatives of the Ministries of Energy, Economy, Finance, Justice, Emergency Situations, Ecology and Natural Resources, Agriculture, Digital Development, and Transportation, specialists of the State Committee for Urban Planning and Architecture, the Central Bank, Azerenerji, and Azerishig.
