NEW YORK - Burson is expanding its US team with two senior hires. Kasia Reterska joins the firm as head of US better impact, leading a team of specialists focused on environmental, social, and governance (ESG) issues and social impact initiatives. Reterska brings nearly two decades of experience in sustainability and social impact strategy, most recently serving as executive VP of social impact and sustainability at Weber Shandwick. Emily Portugal takes on the role of head of US growth, leveraging her 20+ years of experience in business development to drive revenue growth for Burson. Previously, Portugal held various business development roles at Edelman, FCB Chicago, and Pappageorge Haymes Partners.

NEW YORK - The Weber Shandwick Collective has bolstered its capital markets expertise by appointing Lucia Domville as a senior principal. Domville has over 25 years of experience in investor relations and financial communications, with a particular focus on Latin American markets. In her new role, Domville will advise clients on cross-border transactions and global fundraising efforts, leveraging her deep understanding of the investor landscape in both North and Latin America. Prior to joining The Weber Shandwick Collective, Domville led the IR and corporate affairs practices at Grayling and Citigate Dewe Rogerson New York. She also held positions as a journalist and a fixed income analyst earlier in her career.

WASHINGTON - Veteran journalist and public affairs specialist Bill McQuillen is joining FTI Consulting as a managing director in their crisis & litigation communications practice. McQuillen will provide strategic counsel to CEOs, boards, and executives on navigating critical situations involving regulatory issues, political challenges, and financial risks. He brings a unique blend of experience to the role, having spent 15 years as a legal correspondent at Bloomberg News followed by various communications and public affairs roles. Prior to joining FTI Consulting, McQuillen served as VP at Invariant and held leadership positions at Burson Cohn & Wolfe and the American Hotel & Lodging Association.

WASHINGTON - Global Strategy Group (GSG) has named Jessica Sarstedt as VP of communications and public affairs. Previously, Sarstedt was a partner at West End Strategy, where she leveraged her expertise to support intergovernmental organizations, advocacy campaigns, and mission-driven corporations. She also spent several years working for international and cable news outlets, including Al Jazeera America.

NEW YORK - Avenue Z has named Nneka Etoniru
executive VP of global brand strategy. Etoniru
was previously a senior director at FTI Consulting on the strategic communications' financial services team, with clients like Mastercard, Kraken, Tribe Capital & Voyager Space. Prior to FTI, she led communications & PR at IMTC and
Bond. Earlier in her career, Etoniru was a senior reporter at REDD Intelligence.

ANNAPOLIS, MD - In recognition of their contributions to the firm's growth, Crosby Marketing Communications has promoted three key staff members. Marcos Ballestero, with extensive experience leading creative strategy for clients like Shiners Hospitals for Children and the Department of Defense, has been promoted to senior VP, creative director. Sabrina Ostrowski, who has overseen the financial management of Crosby's government contracts since joining the firm in 2015, is now senior VP of contracting and financial management. Sarah Goodling, who has built and managed Crosby's social media team since 2014, has been named VP, social media.

DALLAS - In a move to expand its digital marketing capabilities, national PR and digital marketing agency Bolt PR has named Jessica Ballew as digital marketing director. Ballew brings 15 years of experience in developing and executing marketing strategies across various platforms, including brand development, social media marketing, and lead generation. At Bolt PR, Ballew will oversee all creative and digital marketing efforts, including web development, paid advertising, and social media management. Previously, Ballew held marketing leadership positions at Freeman Company, Nexius, and Success Magazine.
