20 Drug Dealers, Pushers Arrested Nationwide-PSD

Amman, July 14 (Petra) - The Anti-Narcotics Department (AND) conducted two security campaigns in southern Amman and Ajloun, to crack down on drug dealers, promoters, and other "wanted" individuals.
During the raids, six suspects were arrested in southern Amman, while nine others were nabbed in northern Ajloun governorate and narcotics and firearms were seized.
In a statement on Sunday, Spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate (PSD) announced the relevant authorities dealt with five "qualitative" drug cases across the Kingdom over the past 48 hours.
In Central Badia, the official said a drug trafficker's residence was raided and 29,000 narcotic pills and a firearm were confiscated.
Additionally, a "wanted" dealer with 14 warrants was apprehended and authorities seized 2,000 narcotic pills, quantities of synthetic meth, and a firearm in his possession.
In Mafraq, the PSD dealt with two cases and a dealer with 13,000 narcotic pills was arrested. In a separate raid, another dealer was found with 8,000 narcotic pills in his possession. In Karak, a promoter was arrested with four palm-size sheets of narcotic hashish.
