Multiple campaign aides have expressed to the news agency that the 81-year-old Democrat has little chance of recovery and needs to step aside.
Following the June 27 debate, Biden has encountered growing scrutiny from the media, senior party members, donors, and high-profile supporters, all urging him to consider exiting the race.
