Azerbaijan-Uzbek Intergovernmental Commission Convenes In Bukhara


(MENAFN- Trend News Agency) BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 10. The 13th session of the Azerbaijan-Uzbekistan Intergovernmental Commission (IGC) is scheduled to be held today in Bukhara, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijani Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov said, Trend reports.

"Starting our working visit to Uzbekistan today. Looking forward to exploring new opportunities to enhance our collaboration in upcoming meetings with our colleagues from the friendly nation," he wrote on his page on X.

In addition to attending the IGC meeting, the Minister will participate in the Supervisory Board session of the Azerbaijan-Uzbekistan Investment Company and meet with Uzbek Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade Laziz Kudratov.

The 12th meeting of the Azerbaijan-Uzbekistan IGC was held in Azerbaijan's Shusha in 2023. During this meeting, the parties discussed the development of industrial cooperation, the expansion of cooperation in energy and transport, and the enhancement of interregional and cultural-humanitarian ties.
