Turkic World Unity Poses Strongest Support For Current Global Challenges - Turkish VP

Turkic world unity and solidarity pose the strongest support for current global challenges, the Vice President of Türkiye Cevdet Yilmaz said today during an Informal Summit of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) in Shusha city, Trend reports.

The greatest tangible expression of solidarity and unity, he said, is the OTS.

"We are all proud of the level of cooperation achieved by the OTS. While the world's economic centers of gravity are changing and the importance of our geography is increasing, I believe that we, as the Turkic world, will continue to strengthen the relations between our countries.

I sincerely believe, that the Turkic Investment Fund will make a great contribution to the economic and commercial development of the Turkic world. I would like to note that we are glad that Hungary has also applied for membership in the fund,” he added.

The summit, organized at the initiative of the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, is attended by Secretary General of the OTS Kubanychbek Omuraliev, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, President of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus Ersin Tatar, Vice President of Türkiye Cevdet Yilmaz, and Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orban.
