Amir Meets President Of Turkiye

Doha, Qatar: The Amir His Highness sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani met with His Excellency Recep Tayyip Erdogan, President of the sisterly Republic of Turkiye, on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Summit in Astana, Republic of Kazakhstan.

During the meeting, they reviewed the strategic bilateral cooperation relations between the two brotherly countries and ways to enhance them. They also exchanged views on all current issues on the regional and international arenas, especially developments in the situation in Gaza and the occupied Palestinian territories.

The meeting was attended by HE Sheikh Saud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, Chief of the Amiri Diwan, HE Saad bin Sherida Al Kaabi, Minister of State for Energy Affairs, HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Qassim Al Thani, Minister of Commerce and Industry, HE Sultan bin Saad Al Muraikhi, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, and a number of Their Excellencies members of the official delegation.

From the Turkish side, it was attended by His Excellency Hakan Fidan, Minister of Foreign Affairs, His Excellency Alparslan Bayraktar, Minister of Energy, His Excellency Mehmet Simsek, Minister of Finance, His Excellency Omer Bolat, Minister of Trade, and a number of senior officials.
