Explosion In Pakistan Claims Lives Of Four, Including Former Senator


(MENAFN- Khaama Press) The Police of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan, have announced that four individuals, including Hidayatullah Khan, a former representative in the country's Senate, were killed in an explosion in the province.

According to Pakistan's Dawn News, the explosion occurred on Wednesday, July 3rd, in the area of Dama Dola in the Bajaur district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Reports indicate that the attack targeted a vehicle carrying Hidayatullah Khan, a former senator of the country.

So far, no individual or group has claimed responsibility for this incident.

Additionally, on Tuesday, July 2nd, a roadside bomb explosion in Balochistan province, Pakistan, resulted in the deaths of a woman and two children.

Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are recognized as unstable regions in Pakistan where numerous casualties occur due to armed attacks.

Previously, the Pakistani Taliban (Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan-TTP) has claimed responsibility for several of these attacks.

This comes as Pakistan announces the commencement of joint military exercises with the United States to combat terrorism in the town of Pabbi, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
