OSCE PA Resolution Defines Russia's Decolonization As Prerequisite For Sustainable Peace

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) The adoption by the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly of the resolution "Security and Geopolitical Challenges in the OSCE Region: Ten Years of Armed Aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine" is a breakthrough in the context of the decolonization of the Russian Federation.
That's according to InformNapalm , Ukrinform reports.
"In paragraph 47 of the resolution, the OSCE directly states that the conditions for sustainable peace in Europe are the 'decolonization of the Russian Federation.' And paragraph 32 of the resolution indicates that the Russian Federation deliberately pursues a policy of Russification of the indigenous peoples, oppresses their rights and sends to its war of aggression, first of all, representatives of non-Russian peoples. In addition, the resolution defines these peoples as 'colonized'," the post reads.
The Free Nations League said that the Bucharest resolution of the OSCE is a real breakthrough in the decolonization of the Russian Federation.
"The resolution has historical significance. The OSCE directly emphasizes for the first time that the Russian Federation is pursuing a conscious policy of oppressing the rights of indigenous peoples. It is carrying out their Russification and colonization. It emphasizes that the Russian Federation is sending representatives of enslaved peoples to its war of aggression against Ukraine. It is worth noting separately that the OSCE clearly indicates that the condition of sustainable peace in Europe is the 'decolonization of the Russian Federation'," said Dorzho Dugarov, an Advisor of the Free Nations League on International Affairs.

According to him, together with the previous resolutions of the European Parliament and the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, these are unprecedented statements for European institutions.
"We are approaching the subjectivity of the peoples of the Russian Federation. This is a new page in the history of the peoples enslaved by Moscow," Dugarov said.
On June 29, the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly adopted a resolution recognizing Russia's actions as genocide against the Ukrainian people and defining the decolonization of the Russian Federation as a prerequisite for establishing a lasting peace.
