Gas Leak Explosion In Peshawar Guest House Injures 11, Two Critically


(MENAFN- Tribal News Network) Eleven people were injured in an alleged gas leak explosion at a private guest house in University Town, Peshawar. The guest house manager confirmed the incident, stating that the explosion occurred in the morning due to a suspected gas leak. The blast partially damaged four rooms, and the injured were immediately transported to the hospital.

Sajjad Khan, a spokesperson for Khyber Technical Hospital, reported that 11 injured individuals had been admitted, with two in critical condition.

He noted that men, women, and children were among those burned in the explosion. In response, the hospital declared an emergency and alerted all staff.

Following the incident, police and other rescue teams arrived at the scene, and an investigation into the cause of the explosion is underway.
