Ukraine Imports 24.8 Thousand Mwh Of Electricity On Monday


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) As of June 10, the planned volume of electricity imports to Ukraine is 24.8 thousand MWh, while no exports are planned.

This was reported by NPC Ukrenergo on facebook , Ukrinform reports.

"Imports: throughout the day from Romania, Poland, Hungary, and Moldova. The total volume is 24,799 MWh, with a maximum capacity of up to 1,457 MW in some hours. Exports: not carried out and not expected,” the statement said.

It is noted that on June 9, to maintain a balanced operation of the power system, the operation of renewable energy facilities was limited from 11:41 a.m. to 3:41 p.m. At the same time, from 9:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., Ukraine used emergency assistance from the power systems of Romania, Poland, and Slovakia.

As reported, on Monday, June 10, from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m., regional power distribution companies will apply hourly power outage schedules for industrial and residential consumers in all regions of Ukraine.
