Mine Explosion Occurs In Azerbaijan's Aghdam, One Person Injured


(MENAFN- Trend News Agency) BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 3. A 29-year-old resident has been injured as a result of a mine explosion in Ahmadaghaly village of Aghdam district, Trend reports, referring to the Azerbaijani Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Prosecutor General's Office and Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA).

As a result of the incident, a resident of the Aghdam district Bakhtiyar Abbasov (born in 1995) was injured in both legs.

According to the information, the resident was grazing cattle in an undermined area near the former line of contact.

"The Interior Ministry, the Prosecutor General's Office, and ANAMA once again call on citizens to follow safety guidelines and avoid entering unknown territory," the joint report said.
