Three Dead, Five Injured In Jerash House Fire

Amman, Jan. 26 (Petra)-- Three people died and five were injured in a fire in a house in Jerash's Musherfah on Friday, the Public Security Department (PSD) spokesperson said.
He added that three people died in the fire from serious burns to their bodies, while five more persons suffered from various burns and shortness of breath from breathing in the fire's fumes.
The Civil Defense Department's personnel arrived at the house, extinguished the fire to prevent it from spreading to neighbouring buildings and transferred the five injured to Jerash Public Hospital.
The spokesperson said that an investigation was initiated to identify the cause of the fire.
