(MENAFN) The governor-general of Ilam province, located in the western part of Iran, has announced the successful revival of 220 dormant industrial units in the province over the past two years. Nationwide, it was reported by an Iranian news agency that a total of 897 idle and semi-active production units have been revived in the country's industrial parks during the first nine months of the current Iranian calendar year (March 21 to December 21, 2023). Additionally, 1,240 new units have been established in the country's industrial parks and zones during the same period.
