Watch: Malayalam Actor Baburaj Gets Stabbed With Machete In Adimali

(MENAFN- AsiaNet News) According to a report, the actor got injured in an attack by a machete-wielding neighbour following a dispute over a pond. The incident took place at a resort, owned by the actor, near Kallar in Adimali, Idukki district in Kerala on Tuesday. Sunny, who attacked Baburaj with a machete and the actor suffered slash wounds on his chest.

Later, Baburaj was rushed to a nearby hospital, and he was later moved to Ernakulam Rajagiri hospital, where his condition was stable.

According to the police, Baburaj had hired some labourers to clean the pond which seemed to have angered some of the people staying nearby. They believed that such a task would deprive them of water in the coming days when there will be a scarcity of water. When the crowd began to have an argument with Baburaj, the resulting fight took an ugly turn as one of the locals stabbed the actor.

The police have arrested all the culprits involved in the incident.
