Turkish intelligence neutralize High PKK terrorist


(MENAFN) Türkiye’s National Intelligence Organization (MIT) “neutralized” a high PKK terrorist in northern Iraq, through the Turkish boundary, security sources stated on Sunday.

Kadri Encu, known as Dogan, was “neutralized” in Iraq’s Gara region, declared the sources, who talked on state of secrecy by reason of limits on talking to the broadcasting.

Encu, who was offering way for terrorist factions in northern Iraq’s Gara, Zap, Metina and Haftanin districts, to perform raids on the area of Türkiye’s anti-terror Operation Claw, it also mentioned.

As stated by the sources, Encu was the alleged Iraq-Syria commander of the terrorist PKK, associated with the faction’s rural ranks in 2006, and was trained in the Zap district.

He served as the guard of Duran Kalkan, known as Abbas, and was a participant of the PKK’s claimed chief council in 2015-2017. He went to Gara as Iraq-Syria messenger officer in January 2018, the sources also mentioned.

Aside from his alleged courier responsibilities, the sources declared, Encu was also engaged in the acts of the terror faction’s foreign ties unit and organized the movements of PKK terrorists as well as arms in Iraq and among Iraq as well as Syria.
