(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) RIYADH, Aug 2 (KUNA) -- Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Jasem Al-Budaiwi affirmed on Wednesday that the GCC countries and Singapore hold strong relations in various fields.
This came during a meeting between Al-Budaiwi and Singapore's ambassador to Saudi Arabia Wong Chow Ming, the Secretariat said in a statement.
The statement added that during the meeting both sides discussed topics of common interest and ways to boost cooperation between the two sides.
They also reviewed the developments of the free GCC-Singapore trade agreement signed in 2008, and means of developing and boosting it in a way that serves the common interest of the two sides, as well as Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN). (end)
