Fourteen Crimean Businessmen Suspected Of Collaborationism


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Fourteen businessmen from the temporarily occupied Crimea were charged with collaboration with the enemy.

"The suspects' actions are classified as collaborationism (Part 4 of Article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine)," the Prosecutor's Office of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol posted on telegram .

According to the prosecutor's office data, the suspects have been supplying goods and ensuring the work of a number of occupation administrative and security structures on the peninsula financed from the Russian state budget since 2022. In particular, they cooperate with the departments of the ministries of emergency and internal affairs in Crimea, their structural subdivisions, as well as the illegally created prosecutor's office of the city of Sevastopol and the military prosecutor's office of the Black Sea Fleet.

For their cooperation, according to the prosecutor's office, the suspects received more than RUB 41 million from the state budget of the Russian Federation which is equal to the cost of more than 150 DJI MAVIC 3 drones.

Businessmen face up to five years in prison.
