The southern flank of Bakhmut direction, as yesterday, sees Ukraine's advance with battles and strong enemy resistance.
On the northern flank, the enemy attacked, trying to regain lost positions, but failed.
According to Maliar, the offensive operation is underway in Melitopol and Berdiansk directions.
"Our troops were successful in Novodanylivka, Balka Shyroka, Mala Tokmachka, Novopokrovka, and now they gain a foothold on the achieved boundaries. The enemy redeploys units and uses all available reserves. Thanks to the fact that our fighters destroy enemy equipment depots every day, the intensity of enemy shelling has decreased somewhat," the deputy minister wrote.
As reported, the enemy attacked Ukrainian positions in Tavria direction 25 times in the past 24 hours and launched 615 strikes. Artillery units of the defense forces of Tavria direction performed 1,337 fire missions. The enemy lost more than two companies killed and wounded.
