Royal Court Chief Meets With Ruseifa Representatives

(MENAFN- Jordan Times) AMMAN - Pursuant to Royal directives, Royal Court Chief Yousef Issawi met with leaders and representatives of Zarqa's Ruseifa District at the Royal Hashemite Court on Monday.

The meeting followed his majesty King Abdullah's visit to the district on June 26, where he met with leading figures from Ruseifa to gain familiarity with the district's needs, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

At the beginning of the meeting, attended by Adviser to His Majesty for Tribal Affairs Atef Hajaya, Zarqa Governor Hassan Jbour and several MPs, Issawi noted that King Abdullah always stresses the importance of alleviating the burdens faced by citizens, improving the level of services, especially in the health and education sectors, and creating jobs to reduce poverty and unemployment among the youth.

Issawi, who is also head of the follow-up committee for the implementation of Royal initiatives, noted that several previous Royal initiatives across various sectors had been implemented in various areas of the district.

He also stressed that Royal initiatives targeting the district are ongoing, noting that the next phase will focus on productive development projects aimed at increasing youth employment.

For their part, the attendees praised His Majesty's visit to Ruseifa. The attendees noted that the Royal visit, which falls within the framework of His Majesty's commitment to continuous engagement with citizens in various regions of the Kingdom, will have positive effects on the district.

Attendees also reviewed the district's most pressing concerns regarding the economy, education, healthcare, youth and development.

The district residents called for establishing projects to promote the development process and make use of the district's advantageous location between Amman and Zarqa.

At the end of each meeting, Issawi confirmed that all demands and proposals will be reviewed and studied by the relevant authorities.
