It was a very productive meeting with the president [Jorge Viana] and the Apex staff,” said Chohfi.

The Halal Brazil project will last 30 months (until 2025) and invest BRL 15.4 million (about USD 3.11 million at the current rate) to insert 500 companies in the global halal market to encourage the entry of Brazilian companies producing value-added foods in countries with Muslim consumers.
