Donetsk Region's Occupied Areas Facing Water Shortages National Resistance Center
(MENAFN- UkrinForm) The Donetsk region's temporarily occupied areas are facing drinking and industrial water shortages. The relevant statement was made by the national resistance center , an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
According to the available data, the employees of the so-called DPR's state unitary enterprise 'Voda Donbassa' are unable to maintain water supply and drainage systems and facilities. There is also a problem with the delivery of drinking water for the population of the temporarily occupied settlements.
The reason is that the Donetsk region's occupation authorities simply stole the funds allocated for infrastructure maintenance works, the National Resistance Center noted.
A reminder that most settlements in the Kherson region's temporarily occupied areas are experiencing a social and economic crisis due to the lack of food and basic consumer goods. The most challenging situation was recorded in the Novotroitske district.
