RiminiWellness, the international reference event for fitness, sport and wellness, organized by IEG - Italian Exhibition Group, scheduled to take place at Rimini Expo Centre and along the Riviera from 1st to 4th June, is back, enriching the healthy nutrition offer for the community of fitness enthusiasts and professionals with special exhibition areas, showcooking, meetings and demonstrations that focus on the latest trends and proposals in functional nutrition.
FOODWELL EXPO, HEALTHY FOOD COMPANIES AND BRANDS
RiminiWellness sees the return of FoodWell Expo, an area that welcomes food & beverage companies and brands offering products and solutions for the wellness segment. The eighth edition will feature the proposals of - among others - Amadori, RioMare, OrtoRomi, Yakult, Rigoni d'Asiago, Damiano, Granarolo, Zespri, Bonduelle, Dole, Farmo, Fage, Hipro Danone, California Plums, Acqua Lauretana and the Funny Veg network, for an important business moment and update on the latest market entries and secrets for healthy and light eating without giving up taste. Special attention will be paid to meals on the move and foods for the silver generation, for an edition that will abound with events and showcooking organised by the companies as well as opportunities for collateral discussions with nutrition specialists.
FUN AND TRAINING WITH THE COTTO AL DENTE COMMUNITY
New at RiminiWellness will be the area dedicated to Cotto al Dente and its community led by Davide Campagna, main ambassador on stage at the 2023 edition. A point of reference for personal wellness, physical activity, nutrition and mindfulness, in its own hall Cotto al Dente will present workouts, demonstrations and provide in-depth information with the support of trainers, chefs, nutritionist doctors and influencers, as well as off-show activities in the RiminiWellness OFF programme in collaboration with Rimini City Council.
NEW NUTRITION TRENDS AMID PRESENTATIONS AND INSIGHTS
Healthy eating trends will be in the spotlight at RiminiWellness with Daniel Lumera, nutritionist and biologist, who, on 1st June, will be presenting his book “28 respiri per cambiare vita” (28 breaths to change your life): the theme will be the innovative links between nutrition and mindfullness during a moment organized in collaboration with FIF - Federazione Italiana Fitness. On 3 June, physician and nutritionist Luca Speciani will illustrate the benefits of the scientific approach to nutrition for the athlete at an encounter entitled “Nutrition for the athlete in and out of competition”.
GYMS AND PREVENTIVE MEDICINE: THE SCIENTIFIC APPROACH
Scientific focus on the role of nutrition in sports performance will also be discussed at the conference “The science that lengthens life in the age of epigenetics” organized for 2nd June by Giorgio Terziani, wellness expert and visiting professor in Wellness Disciplines at the Saint George Training School (Brescia). The world of fitness and gyms will meet preventive medicine in an event that will boast the scientific direction of Massimo Spattini, surgeon specialising in food science and sports medicine, and Bartolomeo Allegrini, surgeon and expert in homeopathy, homotoxicology, holistic and anti-aging medicine.
FOOD SUPPLEMENTS WITH NUTRITION
The Nutrition area will complete the RiminiWellness offer with a range of reference brands for energy bars and protein supplements to support sports performance, such as Tsunami, FoodSpring, Zec+Nutrition, 4+Nutrition, +Watt, AsFoods, WHY Nature and WildFarm.
