(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) MADRID, May 26 (KUNA) -- The 82nd edition of the Madrid Book Fair kicked off on Friday in the Spanish capital with participation of more than 1,000 publishing houses.
The exhibition, annually held at El Ritero Park, is marked with 358 kiosks, participation of more than 1,000 publishing houses and 113 bookstores.
The grand cultural event which features 400 activities for various ages, discussion panels, seminars, poetry competitions and children's workshops, is forecast to lure two million visitors.
The fair marks its 90th anniversary. (end)
