Amman, May 23 (Petra) -- Prices of 21-karat gold, the highest demand at local market, on Tuesday stood at JD40.10 per gramme, as purchasing price, against JD38.40 as selling price.
The price of 24-karat and 18-karat gold amounted to JD47.10 and JD35.70 respectively, according to the Jordan Jewelers Association's daily bulletin.
Gold prices in global markets on Tuesday reached $1,973 per ounce.
