Doha, Qatar: Ticket sales of Qatar's group matches at the Concacaf Gold Cup 2023 to be held from June 16 to July 16 is underway with fans encouraged to support Al Annabi in the tournament.

Qatar will be based in the United States during the group stage of the Gold Cup with Canada being the co-host of the tournament.

It will be the second time that the reigning Asian champions will feature in the tournament as guests having made their debut in 2021 when they reached the semi-finals, losing to eventual champions USA.

The Carlos Queiroz's men are placed in Group B where they will face Concacaf giants Mexico, Haiti and Honduras.

Qatar will start their campaign against Haiti on June 26 at NRG Stadium in Houston with the match scheduled to kick off at 1:00am (Qatar time zone). Al Annabi will next meet Honduras on June 30 at State Farm Stadium in Glendale before squaring off with Mexico in their final group tie on July 3 at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara.

The Qatar Football Association (QFA) on its twitter account said tickets for Qatar matches can be booked at ticketmaster.com encouraging fans to back Al Annabi during their games.

The Concacaf Gold Cup, which will be veteran Queiroz's first assignment as Qatar coach, is seen as an important test for the national side, which will begin qualifying campaign for 2026 FIFA World Cup this November before defending its title at the Asian Cup, which will be played from January 12 to February 10, 2024 in Qatar.

Al Annabi are currently undergoing a training camp at home and will leave for Austria later this month for the second phase of preparation in Vienna. The team will also play friendly matches against Croatia, Jamaica and New Zealand during the camp before departing for the US.

Queiroz last week announced a new-look 26-player squad for Austria camp, leaving out experienced players including Hassan Al Haydos, Akram Afif, goalkeeper Saad Al Sheeb, Boualem Khoukhi, Karim Boudiaf, Pedro Miguel and Abdulaziz Hatem to pave the way for fresh faces.
