Doha: Al Rayyan International University College (ARIU) announced the successful graduation of its inaugural cohort of students in partnership with the esteemed University of Derby.
The graduation ceremony, held on May 16, marked a momentous milestone for ARIU, emphasising its commitment to delivering high-quality education in the fields of international business, tourism management, and hospitality management.
Under the distinguished patronage of Sheikh Faisal bin Qassim Al Thani, whose visionary leadership laid the foundation for the establishment of Qatar's first private university, the ceremony brought together esteemed faculty, dedicated staff, and proud parents, all gathering to celebrate the remarkable achievements of the graduates and wish them success in their future endeavours.
The partnership between ARIU and the University of Derby began in 2021, following the approval by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education.
Through this collaboration, ARIU offers UK-accredited and internationally recognised undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, empowering students with a global perspective and equipping them for thriving careers in their respective fields.
The graduation ceremony served as a testament to the hard work and unwavering dedication of the graduating students, who represented diverse nationalities and backgrounds. Over 60 students were awarded their Bachelor's and Master's degrees, reaffirming the excellence and rigorous academic standards upheld by ARIU and the University of Derby.
