Saudi Arabia Announces Evacuation Of 5,197 People From Sudan

Riyadh: Saudi authorities announced on Sunday that a total of 5,197 people, including 184 Saudi citizens and 5,013 people of other nationalities, have been evacuated from Sudan so far.

Saudi Press Agency (SPA) stated that 45 Saudi citizens, and 36 Pakistanis arrived today at King Abdullah Air Base in the western sector in Jeddah after they were evacuated by a transport plane of the Saudi Air Force.

Al Diriyah, an Avante 2000 corvette of the Saudi Royal Navy, arrived in Jeddah, with 52 people on board from the Sultanate of Oman, Pakistan, the US, and Nepal, SPA reported, adding that about 185 people from several countries have been evacuated over the past two days.
