Accusing the previous state government for not allowing the sector to thrive, he said due to this both workers and owners suffers.

“Since the BJP-led government was established in 2018, we started taking a new approach. With new units coming up, it needs to be seen that not just the owners are earning profits,” he said.

The re-opened plant was running few year ago and was shut down by the owners.

He referred to the issue and said it“suffered some disruption in between but has started afresh.”

The CM said that the state government's goal is to attract investment and want different types of industrial ventures to come up more and more.

The rubber threads manufactured in the plant would exported to Bangladesh and other countries, said DS Group executives.
