QFBA-Northumbria University Launches New MSc Programmes in Qatar

(MENAFN) Qatar Finance and Business Academy (QFBA) has partnered with Northumbria University to launch two new master's programmes for the academic year 2023-2024: MSc in Business Analytics and MSc in Digital Marketing. During the launch of the programmes, Khalifa Al Yafei, Acting CEO at QFBA, stated that the programmes were designed to meet the needs of the market and the growing demand for using digital marketing and business analytics techniques. He also emphasized that the programmes were developed to be suitable for anyone with a bachelor's degree, regardless of their major, and convenient for working employees.

The programme duration for both MSc in Business Analytics and MSc in Digital Marketing is only one year. Participants are required to have a bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study with a minimum 2:2 classification (2.70/4.0 GPA) and an IELTS test with a minimum score of 6.5, if the applicant is a graduate from a non-English speaking institution.

QFBA-Northumbria University seeks to provide the market with empowered working professionals enriched with the proper knowledge and experience to be successful leaders and managers. Dr. Ali Malik, Head of Academic Affairs, stated that the programmes aim to provide participants with a suitable and enhanced understanding of the role of digital marketing and its strategies, aligning with the future needs of the market. He also mentioned that the programme is unique as it has been developed in close consultation with two leading marketing professional bodies, the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) and the Institute of Direct and Digital Marketing (IDM).

The MSc in Business Analytics and MSc in Digital Marketing programmes prepare participants educationally and practically during their studies by engaging them in the workforce in existing companies in the market. This enables them, in the future, to enter the market either by working for private and governmental companies or opening their own businesses.

QFBA has been in partnership with Northumbria University since 2018 and has been awarded "University of the Year" in 2022 by Times Higher Education Awards 2022. The partnership aims to provide academic excellence and contribute to Qatar's human capital development by providing the market with well-prepared, successful professionals.
