Russians Switched To 'Syrian' Scorched Earth Tactics In Battle For Bakhmut Ukraine Commander


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) In the battle for Bakhmut, Donetsk region, Russian invaders switched to the "Syrian" scorched earth tactics, with Ukrainian defenders continuing to hold the city.

That's according to Colonel-General Oleksandr Syrskyi, the Commander of the Ukrainian Ground Forces, Ukrinform reports, citing the telegram channel of the Military media Center.

On Sunday, April 9, Syrskyi visited the hottest spots of the front in the Bakhmut sector, where he heard reports by the commanders of military units and gropings about the progress of the defense and problems that need to be resolved immediately.
