(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) MOSCOW, March 17 (KUNA) -- Russian Presidency announced Friday that the Chinese President Xi Jinping would visit Moscow next week.
In a statement, the Presidency said that the Chinese President will pay an official visit to Moscow at the invitation of his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin from 20-22 March.
Both sides will discuss ways of enhancing comprehensive partnership and strategic cooperation between Russia and China, the statement noted.
In 2022, the two countries signed a treaty for strategic partnership to develop bilateral relations in all fields, mainly policy, economy, and trade.
Moscow and Beijing are working on coordinating their efforts at international scenes as permanent members of the UN Security Council and two main pillars in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, G20, and the BRICS Organization. (end)
