Ukrainian Forces Repel More Than 100 Enemy Attacks In Donetsk Region


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Russian invaders are concentrating their main efforts on conducting offensive operations in the Kupiansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Shakhtar sectors.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said this in its morning update published on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

'Invaders are continuing their unsuccessful offensive operations in the areas of Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Dubovo-Vasylivka, Bakhmut, Kamianka, Avdiivka and Marinka of the Donetsk region. In the past day, our defenders repelled more than 100 enemy attacks in the said areas,' the report said.

Russian forces also launched 24 air strikes and a missile strike. During the air strikes, the enemy used one Shahed-136 drone. It was shot down. The occupiers also carried out more than 60 attacks using multiple launch rocket systems.

Ukrainian combat aircraft launched seven strikes on enemy concentration areas in the past day. Ukrainian defenders also shot down Russia's Orlan-10 unmanned aerial vehicle. Ukrainian rocket forces and gunners hit five Russian military personnel concentration areas, three fuel depots, a Buk-M1-2 anti-aircraft missile system; and a Zoopark counter-battery radar system.

In the settlement of Ulianivka in the Vasylivka district of the temporarily occupied territory of the Zaporizhzhia region, on the instructions of the so-called 'Russian occupation administration,' grain crops from the neighboring agricultural enterprises and farms of the district are being brought to the local hangar.
