Iran, China's Trade Agreement to be Implemented in 2 Months


(MENAFN) According to Tasnim News Agency, the Head of Iran's Trade Promotion Organization (TPO), Alireza Peyman-Pak, has announced that the trade agreements and contracts signed between Iran and China during President Ebrahim Raisi's visit to Beijing will be implemented within the next two months. Peyman-Pak highlighted the importance of the agreements, stating that their positive effects on the country's Economy will be evident.

He mentioned that, prior to the President's visit, a team from the Ministry of Industry, Mining, and Trade was sent to China to negotiate cooperation in various fields, including mining, railways, automobiles, machinery, and industrial equipment. The Industry, Mining, and Trade Minister Reza Fatemi-Amin also traveled to China before the President's visit, visiting factories and large industrial complexes in Beijing and other major cities, where serious negotiations took place between the two sides.

In addition, during President Raisi's visit to China, two memorandums of understanding (MOUs) worth over $8.1 billion were signed between the two countries to cooperate in various agricultural fields. Deputy Agriculture Minister Shahpour Alaei stated that an MOU worth $3.5 billion was signed for cooperation in the fishery sector, agriculture mechanization, development of greenhouse, rainfed cultivation, and exchange of knowledge.

These agreements between Iran and China will not only benefit the two countries but could also have a positive impact on the global economy. The implementation of these agreements is expected to create new opportunities for cooperation and trade, and it could also provide a boost to Iran's economy, which has been facing several challenges due to international sanctions. The collaboration between Iran and China is a strategic move that could have significant long-term effects on both countries' economic growth and development.
